This is a cover I designed for a lovely book called Homemaking and Housekeeping. Inspired by folk art and the floral flourishes found on traditional barges, the final cover was ultimately pared back, but I remain incredibly proud of this early draft.

Also pictured is an alternative concept, for which I painstakingly arranged scanned stitches to create a distinctly homespun feel. I loved to create it.
